Bob holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Industrial Design from Auburn University.  He worked as a media specialist and medical photographer at Auburn University.  He was the Design Manager at Ampex Corp., Magnetic Tape Division, Opelika, AL where he was awarded 2 design patents.  He went on to become a Design Manager at Aladdin Corp., Nashville, TN before going out on his own in 1985.  He is an accomplished cook and audio-video enthusiast. He is also a serious outdoor photographer (see the photography section) and did most of the interior shots included on this website. 

Bob is also active with Habitat for Humanity as a volunteer supervisor for the past several years with the Nashville chapter (where he was responsible for the design of the kitchens for several of basic home plans) and with Habitat International where he has worked in Sri Lanka in the aftermath of the tsunami and on the Gulf Coast in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina.  He has been a resident of Nashville, TN since 1982.
